Winter is coming to an end soon, and we are all ready for spring to finally take over! If you are unsure of what to get for the spring weather, don’t worry. I’m hooking you up with a list of five of the cutest, most trendy pieces of clothing for the spring. Thank me later.
1. Puffed Shoulders

You heard it. The vintage-inspired puffed shoulders look is becoming huge, and you can find these in just about any fast fashion or high street fashion retailer. For an 80’s inspired spring look, pair a floral puffed sleeve top with a denim skirt and medium heels, and you’re good to go!
2. White Tank Top

I predict that this one will be extremely popular. If you own a white tank top, you’re in luck, because this is one of the safest article of clothing you can wear in spring. You can never go wrong with a white tank top, and they certainly never get old. Now if you are not a fan of the basic look, you can buy a white tank top with a printed photo or logo, or even DIY it to your liking. Style it with ripped blue denim jeans, or khaki jeans and white trainers.
3. Denim Jacket

As you expected, the beloved denim jacket had to make it on this list. These have been popular since the 60’s, when rock musicians started wearing them. If you don’t own one, you are doing it wrong. For this spring, don’t be afraid to wear a denim jacket with denim jeans, as double denim is back in fashion. Team a white tank top up with a distressed denim jacket, denim jeans and cute pair of shoes of your choice.
4, Embellished Straps

Because spaghetti straps are too mainstream. This spring, you can decorate your straps with rhinestones, pearls or glitter. Not only for your top, but also for your dress or handbag. Your embellished straps can be worn on any outdoor occasion, so don’t be shy to wear them to school or college. Want to be the most sparkly person at a spring party? Wear a gorgeous rhinestone strapped dress, with strappy rhinestone high heels to match, and voila!
5. Square Necklines

Move over V-necks, I have found the new neckline trend. They may not be so popular now, but I have a feeling that people are getting bored of V-necks, and are looking for something less basic. I predict that square necklines will be the new thing this spring, and I’m already seeing them being sold in Topshop and Urban Outfitters. I’m also seeing them being worn in fashion shows, which means they could be the next big deal. If you want the sunny spring look, pair a floral square neckline maxi dress with flats or sandals. If you want to dress for the cloudy spring weather, wear a bright coloured cotton square neckline top with high waist jeans and trainers. Grab a denim jacket, if you think you’ll be cold!
